Arizona Courts & Civil Procedure

Federal District Court

• There is one Federal District Court for Arizona. It is the trial court for all issues over which the federal government has jurisdiction.
• Federal court divisions are located in Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, and Yuma. Additionally, there are court in Page, Kingman, and Grand Canyon, however they handle CVB (Central Violations Bureau) matters only.

Bankruptcy Court

• The District of Arizona Bankruptcy Court is a specialized federal court that hears bankruptcy cases only.
• There are two divisions: one in Phoenix and the other in Tucson. Hearing and In-Person filing is available in Yuma, and Hearing Only is available in Flagstaff and Bullhead City.
