INTRODUCTION

In the executive branch, the Governor of Arizona can issue executive orders and proclamations, as well as veto bills passed by the legislature.  The Attorney General can issue opinions offering guidance to agencies, the legislature, and others, while the Secretary of State publishes laws passed by the legislature and administrative rules.

ARIZONA CORPORATION COMMISSION (ACC)

Arizona Corporation Commission:

  • The Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) sets rules, regulations, and orders regarding public service corporations (utilities, securities) in Arizona, investigates and holds hearings on rate setting, and retains the public records of all corporations doing business within Arizona. 
  • The ACC website posts rules, regulations, adjudications and dockets.
