COVID-19 & Law Coalition Information Hub

About This Guide

About This Guide

The COVID-19 & Law Coalition Chairs and the Cracchiolo Law Library have created and organized this LibGuide intending it to be an internal-facing Information Hub bringing together activities of the COL faculty and relevant activities and resources outside the COL. We can post and archive white papers, videos, and other works of our faculty. The Law Library can also provide research support throughout this process, including training faculty's Research Assistants (students) in discreet areas of legal and interdisciplinary research. We have Librarians and Law Fellows ready to utilize their training and expertise in research, technology, and organization to facilitate this project and support our faculty.

In collaboration with ITS, we are organizing the Coalition using the MS Teams platform. Every member of the Coalition will be on the Team, LAW-COALITION. Within the Team we will set up working groups (called "channels") by subject area (e.g. Health Law & Policy). The channels are open to the entire Coalition so that information can be easily shared and collaborations can happen organically.

A related but broader effort stemming from the COVID-19 epidemic is the COL's effort to solicit comments, ideas, and suggestions from the COL community through a virtual suggestion box called the LawCat Collaborative. We are seeking input on all aspects of operations, education, and practice that could help the COL move forward and innovate during this time of crisis and afterwards. The LawCat Collaborative inbox will be moderated by the Law Library staff who will redirect messages to the appropriate working groups (channels) and individuals within the Coalition Team.

The Law Library staff will frequently update this LibGuide with information Coalition members post on the LAW-COALITION Team and from other relevant sources. You can help us by emailing upcoming events and resources of broad interest to the COVID-19 & Law Coalition Information Hub. We will be sending a weekly bulletin to the COL faculty and staff with upcoming events relating to COVID-19 and this Coalition.
