Some tribes offer internal training programs, but many tribes take advantage of programs developed and offered by government entities and private organizations. These entities offer training on such topics as law & governance, human resources, finance, gaming, tribal court operations - case management, probation, peacemaking, victim assistance & juvenile justice, among others. Tribal technical assistance programs offer expertise and collaborative tools to support tribal operations and expansions of tribal capabilities. Some programs are funded through federal grants and private donations.
