INTRODUCTION

Ethics opinions are written by the Arizona State Bar in response to queries from lawyers about whether past or potential actions are considered ethical.  While bar association ethics opinions are themselves not binding, case law on legal ethics in the jurisdiction where the case was decided is binding.
