The objectives for week 3 are for students to:
- Understand the usefulness of Internet immigration law research guides
- Understand the importance of following a legal research process
- Understand the organization and purpose of the administrative immigration court system
- Understand the role and purpose of Immigration Judges and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA)
- Be familiar with BIA decisions and other types of agency decisions
- Understand the role of federal courts in reviewing immigration agency decisions
